California Roll

Writings about life in California after six years' immersion in the real Japan. Poems and vignettes arise from passionate and reflective grappling with life, relationships and God. I'm a mother of teen girls and an 85 pound dog, an ESL teacher, and married to a very smart Korean American engineer. Writing a novel, teaching, doing good for my family and community, and caring for a mother losing her mind (Alzheimers) fill my days.
